How To Make Money off the Cow Business
I've seen more than half a century,
from the tractor seat and saddle,
my living and my lifestyle,
tied hard and fast to cattle.
All those years of raising cows,
the good times and the wrecks,
spooky colts, cranky cows,
stuck trucks and rubber checks.
To spin them stories into rhyme,
has become my stock in trade,
and unlike raising cows;
sometimes I get paid!
