Mike's Meadow Muffins May 3rd, 2010
Happy Mother’s Day
My mother is a lady,
she stood just five foot two,
but she could calve out heifers,
and run the baler too.
From her I learned my letters,
and to tie my shoes of course,
and "A light hand on the bridle,
will make a better horse".
She raised cows, kids, and horses,
kept the house and helped make hay,
and the lessons mother taught me,
still hold true today!
