Turn Out Time
I hear it snowed clear down to Utah,
and across the Alberta plains.
Our drought has been slightly moderated,
by two straight weeks of rain.
The grass is green and lush,
the creeks are running high!
I don't mind riding in the rain,
after two long years of dry.
My dog looks like a drowned rat,
but she is grinning ear to ear,
I am pretty sure that "turn out",
is her favourite time of year.
